Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has secured a ₹192 crore contract from South Eastern Railway for the upgradation of an electric traction system. The contract involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 132-kV traction substation, sectioning post, and sub-sectioning post in a 2x25 kV system on the Rajkhaswan-Nayagarh-Bolani section of the Chakradharpur division. RVNL has received the letter of acceptance (LoA) for this project, marking a significant step forward in enhancing the region's rail infrastructure.
