The Rail Vikas Nigam has floated a tender for rail works in Uttar Pradesh. The scope of work includes construction of railway embankment, roadbed, major and minor bridges, RUBs, ROBs, and track linking (excluding supply of rails and main line sleepers). The work also includes construction of stations, service buildings, quarters, resthouse, and general electrical works from Ghazipur city (excluding) to Mardah (including), construction of a new BG line from Mau to Tarighat in Varanasi Division of NE Railway and Danapur Division of EC Railway in Uttar Pradesh. The project will be completed in 48 months at an investment of ₹397.74 crore, RVNL said in an official statement.
