₹1,645 Cr Mathura Link Road Project Approved

The Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad’s ₹1,645 crore project to connect the Yamuna Expressway (Noida-Agra) and the Delhi-Agra National Highway in Mathura has been approved.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will begin land acquisition in the first phase. The route will start from Jaint (Km 129.32), pass near Ramtal in Vrindavan, cross the Yamuna, and merge with the expressway.
A bridge over the Yamuna will be built from Jugal Ghat in Vrindavan to Jahangirpur, along with a multi-level parking facility for 3,000 vehicles. This will help decongest the city by allowing visitors to park outside and use smaller vehicles for local travel.
