Centre Approves ₹753 Cr Western Ring Road for Vellore

Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways

The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has sanctioned ₹753 crore for a 20.4-km four-lane western ring road in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. The project aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve connectivity.

The bypass will start from Vandranthangal on NH-75 (formerly NH-234) in the Katpadi-Latteri-Gudiyatham section, enhancing smooth transit across key routes.
