Rs 10,880 Cr MoUs Signed for Solar, Manufacturing & Healthcare Projects at Advantage Vidarbha 2026

Day two of Advantage Vidarbha 2026 Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav in Nagpur witnessed the signing of three major MoUs, reinforcing Vidarbha’s position as a fast-growing investment destination, as envisioned by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. The agreements are expected to boost industrial growth, infrastructure and employment in the region.

Galaxy Solar Energy Pvt Ltd signed a MoU with the Maharashtra government to invest Rs 10,080 crore in setting up an integrated solar and battery energy storage manufacturing plant in Nagpur district. G R Infraprojects Limited committed Rs 200 crore to establish a tower manufacturing plant in Nagpur. Quality CARE India Ltd partnered with Maha-Metro to develop a 350-plus bed multi-speciality hospital near Kasturchand Park Metro Station under the PPP model with an investment of over Rs 600 crore.

Gadkari thanked industry partners and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for supporting the initiatives and said the projects would generate more than 6,000 jobs, expand infrastructure and strengthen regional supply chains. He described the agreements as a decisive step toward clean energy leadership, advanced manufacturing and world-class urban healthcare in Vidarbha.
