Under the agreement, RITES will provide consultancy services covering the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for highways and tunnels, external technical audits, third-party quality assurance, structural health assessments of bridges and flyovers, and technical support unit services.
The scope will also include road safety audits, crash investigation and mitigation planning, slope stability studies and design services, and Authority Engineering services for highway, tunnel and slope stability projects.
The partnership establishes a framework for strengthening project planning, engineering, construction quality and safety standards across NHIDCL’s infrastructure portfolio. It combines NHIDCL’s experience in developing national highways and strategic infrastructure with RITES’ transport infrastructure consultancy expertise to support the delivery of critical connectivity projects in the region.
