HG Infra wins ₹998-cr road contract in Jharkhand
HG Infra Engineering, a national construction and engineering company, has secured two major contracts. After winning a DMRC contract worth ₹399 crore, the company has now been awarded a road contract by NHAI. HG Infra Engineering has received a Letter of Award (LoA) for a project worth ₹998.4 crore under the Bharatmala Pariyojana in Jharkhand on a Hybrid Annuity Model (Package-10). The project involves the construction of a 6-lane greenfield Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata highway from Deoria village to Donoreshan village, covering a distance of 35.6 km. The project is expected to be completed in approximately two years or 730 days. HG Infra Engineering bid ₹1,303.11 crore, while NHAI's estimated cost of the project is ₹998.36 crore.
In addition to this project, HG Infra Engineering also emerged as the lowest bidder (L-1) for another road project worth ₹677 crore in Jharkhand.
