RLDA Invites Bids for Commercial Development of Airspace Above Tirupati Railway Station

The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has invited bids for the commercial development of airspace above the South Side Building of Tirupati Railway Station in Andhra Pradesh. With a reserve price of Rs. 22.68 crore, the project will lease 36,640 sqm of built-up vertical space over a 60-year term. Planned structures include two building blocks, featuring 21,984 sqm for hotel use, 10,992 sqm for retail, and 3,664 sqm as service floors.
Located conveniently within Tirupati’s central zone, the site connects well to major transportation hubs, including the Tirupati Bus Stand (1-2 km away), Renigunta Railway Station (10-11 km), and Tirupati International Airport (15-16 km). The site borders the Tirupati Railway Station platforms to the north, with mixed-use developments to the south and west. The lower three floors of the building will serve as a departure concourse, featuring access to platforms and passenger amenities, with commercial spaces positioned on the upper floors. This development offers great potential for enhanced connectivity and integration with Tirupati’s growing commercial landscape.
