RITES Emerges as Sole Bidder for Kochi Metro Phase-III Airport Line DPR

RITES, under the Ministry of Railways, has emerged as the only qualified bidder for preparing the detailed project report (DPR) for Kochi Metro’s proposed Phase-III airport line. The DPR will determine the corridor’s length, alignment, station locations, and feasibility of developing the route as an independent line from Aluva to Angamaly, rather than extending the existing Tripunithura-Aluva corridor.

As part of the study, the consultant will assess different rolling stock options and evaluate the potential future extension to Kochi GIFT City within the Kochi-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor.
