Realtors resume construction work
With renewed vigor and alacrity, real estate developers have restarted construction work on over 100 realty projects in the NCR, after securing mandatory permissions from local authorities. The builders are strictly adhering to the laid down norms including social distancing and making provisions for isolation rooms for doctors and allied work force at project sites, said, chairman of Gurgaon-based Signature Global Group, Pradeep Aggarwal. Besides hand sanitizers at every office entrance, manual spray sanitizers and portable sanitizers are being used to sanitize machines, tools and metallic parts. The Signature group has received permission to restart work at seven projects in Gurgaon and one at Karnal in Haryana. Supertech Group has prepared a video message and detailed standard operating procedures have been put in place, said, chairman RK Arora. The builder has got approvals for projects in Noida and Gurgaon. Delhi-based Raheja group has started work on Kathputli colony, an in-situ project with the Delhi Development Authority. The company is deploying more manpower from Delhi and has requested for transfer of skilled workers living in shelter camps, said chairman Navin Raheja.
