Realtors commit Rs. 1.60 lakh-cr for Haryana

Appeared unfazed from the recent violent incidents in the state, property developers of various hues have committed a whopping investment worth Rs. 1.60 lakh-cr in Haryana during the just concluded 'Happening Haryana', summit, which also culminated with the inking of memorandums of understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 5.84 lakh-cr covering various other sectors. The government clarified that of the total MoUs, only 18% worth Rs 1.60 lakh-cr are related to realty projects and others covering areas like manufacturing, pharmaceutical, IT and allied industries, the concerned minister informed in details as how the national capital region (NCR) of Haryana attracted investments. The way the MoUs have been signed and the expected conversion rate, industries, domestic and foreign investors have reposed their faith in the stability of the state. The minister said NCR had attracted good investments, but asserted that associate industries would be coming up in scattered areas across regions ensuring balanced development in every nook and corner of Haryana.
