Nila Spaces Lists GIFT City Project VIDA on Alt DRX, Enables Real Estate Tokenisation from 1 Sq Ft

Nila Spaces has listed its GIFT City project VIDA on Alt DRX, marking the first tokenised real estate asset under the platform’s Gujarat Tri-City Investment Opportunity.

The listing allows resident Indians to invest in GIFT City with entry starting from the equivalent of one square foot, significantly lowering the barrier to premium real estate ownership. Traditionally, high ticket sizes ranging from Rs 75 lakh to Rs 3 crore, along with long lock-in periods and limited liquidity, have restricted access to quality residential assets.

Through tokenisation, the VIDA project converts real estate into tradable digital units, enabling fractional ownership and faster transactions. The model reduces entry costs, simplifies processes and improves liquidity, allowing investors to buy and sell with greater flexibility.

What doesn’t change is the thing that matters most: every token is anchored to a tangible, stamp-duty paid, legally enforceable piece of real estate. Investors get the steadiness of bricks and mortar and the agility of a digital asset — without drifting into the speculative instruments that have burned Indian savers before.
