Ganpati Group
Ganpati Group has announced a planned investment of approximately Rs 250 crore to develop a 200-key hotel in Lucknow in partnership with Sheraton Hotels and Resorts. The proposed hotel will be located in Vibhuti Khand and marks the Group’s expansion into branded hospitality.

The project will combine Ganpati Group’s real estate development capabilities with Sheraton Hotels and Resorts’ international hospitality brand and management expertise.

The development is part of Ganpati Group’s broader hospitality expansion strategy, which targets the addition of approximately 800-1,000 hotel keys over the next three to five years. Hospitality will also form part of the Group’s upcoming development portfolio, valued at approximately Rs 2,000 crore across residential, commercial and hospitality projects.

Lucknow and Visakhapatnam are among the Group’s immediate focus markets as it expands its development activities across these sectors.

Nikhil Agarwal, Managing Director, Ganpati Group, said, “Hospitality is an important pillar of our long-term growth strategy, and our planned ₹250 crore investment in Lucknow, in partnership with Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, reflects our conviction in the potential of India’s evolving hospitality market. We believe markets that combine a growing business ecosystem, infrastructure development and tourism potential offer compelling opportunities for quality hospitality assets. Lucknow brings these fundamentals together, making it an important market for our expansion. By combining our real estate development capabilities with Sheraton Hotels and Resorts’ established global hospitality expertise, we aim to contribute to the city’s evolving hospitality infrastructure while building a stronger, more diversified portfolio for Ganpati Group.”

The partnership with Sheraton Hotels and Resorts reflects Ganpati Group’s strategy to combine well-positioned real estate investments with established global hospitality expertise. As the Group expands across key business, leisure and emerging markets, branded hospitality will play an increasingly important role in diversifying its portfolio and driving long-term growth.

The investment reflects Ganpati Group’s focus on building a diversified hospitality portfolio in urban markets supported by economic activity, infrastructure development and evolving business and leisure travel demand. As Uttar Pradesh’s capital and an expanding centre for administration, commerce and services, Lucknow presents an opportunity to develop quality hospitality assets that respond to the city’s evolving requirements. Its growing business ecosystem, infrastructure investments and tourism potential underpin the Group’s decision to strengthen its presence in the market.
