Railways Floats Tender for Infra Projects on Solapur-Tuljapur Section
Central Railway has issued a tender for the construction of major bridges, road over bridges (ROBs), and various civil structures on the Solapur-Tuljapur section in Maharashtra. The project, valued at ₹942.03 crore, includes earthwork, major and minor bridges, ROBs, road under bridges, limited height subways/pedestrian crossings, retaining walls, drains, track laying, and civil works such as station buildings, service buildings, platforms, residential quarters, and fencing along the alignment from Solapur to Tuljapur, excluding the tunnel portion. The contract duration is 30 months, with a bid submission deadline of 06 August 2024.
