Railway Projects Worth ₹3917 Cr Inaugurated in Bihar
The Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for several railway projects in Bihar, totaling around ₹3917 crore. These include the Raghopur – Forbesganj Gauge Conversion, doubling of Mukuria-Katihar-Kumedpur rail line, Barauni-Bachhwara 3rd and 4th line project, and electrification of Katihar-Jogbani rail section, among others. These endeavors aim to improve accessibility and foster socio-economic development in the region. Additionally, the Prime Minister flagged off four trains, including the Danapur - Jogbani Express (via Darbhanga – Sakri), Jogbani- Saharsa Express, Sonpur-Vaishali Express, and Jogbani- Siliguri Express.
