Rail Vikas Nigam Secures ₹3,622 Cr BharatNet Project with BSNL

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) has announced receiving a Letter of Acceptance from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) for a significant middle-mile network development project under BharatNet, the Government of India’s flagship initiative to enhance digital connectivity.

Valued at ₹3,622.14 crore, the project includes network design, upgradation, and maintenance on a Design-Build-Operate-Maintain (DBOM) model. This ensures sustainable and efficient service delivery for decades, with a 10-year operations and maintenance contract.

RVNL will collaborate with partners HFCL and ATS, leveraging their expertise to ensure the project’s successful execution. This strategic partnership aims to enhance digital infrastructure, supporting the government's vision of a digitally empowered India.
