PWD to Repair Four Key Flyovers in Delhi

The Public Works Department (PWD) will begin repair work on four major flyovers in Delhi—Sarita Vihar, Shadipur, Seelampur, and Zakhira—in the coming months.
At Sarita Vihar, only one side of the flyover was repaired last year. Now, the Badarpur to Ashram carriageway will undergo repairs. Earlier, repair work on the Ashram to Badarpur side led to congestion due to heavy traffic, despite one lane remaining open.
The Shadipur and Seelampur flyovers, among Delhi’s oldest, also require repairs. Additionally, the Zakhira flyover, built in the 1970s, connects Rohtak Road and Najafgarh Road, serving as a key route for heavy trucks from Mundka, Nangloi, and Anand Parbat industrial areas. The repairs will improve safety and benefit thousands of daily commuters.
