PSC Bridge for Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Completed

A 260-meter-long PSC bridge over National Expressway-4

A 260-meter-long PSC bridge over National Expressway-4 near Kosamba, Surat district, was completed on February 22, 2025, as part of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project.

The bridge, situated between Surat and Bharuch Bullet Train stations, consists of 104 precast segments with a span configuration of 50m + 80m + 80m + 50m. It was constructed using the Balanced Cantilever Method, ideal for longer spans.

Built over the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, which passes through Rajasthan and Gujarat, the project prioritized safety and efficiency, ensuring smooth traffic flow with minimal disruption during construction.
