Power Mech Projects Wins 1st Nuclear Power Sector ₹563cr Contract
Power Mech Projects Limited (PMPL) has announced its inaugural construction project in the nuclear power sector, securing an order valued at ₹563.23 crore. The contract, awarded by BHEL – Power Sector Southern Region, encompasses civil, structural, and architectural works for the Turbine Island package of the 2 x 700 MWe PHWR Kaiga Atomic Power Project (Units 5 and 6) in Uttar Kannada district, Karnataka. The project is set to be completed over a duration of 32 months, with an additional 12-month guarantee period. This marks a significant milestone for PMPL as it ventures into the critical nuclear power infrastructure sector.
