Doka Sets Sustainability Milestone in Formwork and Scaffolding Industry

Doka, a global leader in formwork and scaffolding
Doka, a global leader in formwork and scaffolding, has established itself as a pioneer in sustainability by playing a key role in developing minimum standards for calculating Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs). This milestone represents a significant step towards decarbonising the construction sector.

A Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) measures the total greenhouse gas emissions generated by a product throughout its life cycle. It serves as a crucial tool for evaluating the climate impact of products and identifying ways to reduce emissions in the value chain.

"Competitiveness, sustainability, and transparency are increasingly interconnected, with valid data being essential for sustainable decision-making," said Robert Hauser, CEO of Doka. "Two years ago, we set new standards by fully calculating the PCFs of over 7,000 Doka products. We are proud to have significantly contributed to establishing industry-wide minimum standards for the first time."
