PM Modi Inaugurates & Lays Foundation for ₹12,100 Cr Development Projects in Bihar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for a series of transformative projects in Darbhanga, Bihar, totaling ₹12,100 crore, with a strong emphasis on healthcare, roads, railways, and energy. Among the highlights is the foundation stone for AIIMS Darbhanga, a ₹1,260 crore project that promises to boost healthcare access in the region.
Connectivity also received a substantial boost with National Highway projects worth ₹5,070 crore, including the inauguration of the four-lane Galgalia-Araria section of NH-327E and new road links.
In the rail sector, PM Modi inaugurated and initiated projects valued at over ₹1,740 crore, including the foundation stone for the Sonenagar Bypass Railway line and gauge conversion to improve regional rail connectivity.
Additionally, the Prime Minister inaugurated petroleum and gas initiatives worth ₹4,020 crore, which include city gas distribution networks across key districts and a bitumen manufacturing unit at the Barauni Refinery to reduce import reliance.
