PM Lays Foundation Stone for SECI’s Largest 300 MW Solar PV Project in Andhra Pradesh

The foundation stone laying was done as part of observance of the Seva Parv ceremony which was held in Banswara, Rajasthan, in the august presence of Shri Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, Governor, Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief Minister, Rajasthan, Shri Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution; and New and Renewable Energy, Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister, Andhra Pradesh.
The event was also attended by Dr Prem Chanda Bairwa, Deputy Chief Minister, Rajasthan, Smt. Diya Kumari, Deputy Chief Minister, Rajasthan, Shri Gottipati Ravi Kumar, Energy Minister, Andhra Pradesh, Shri B K Parthasarathi, MP, Hindupur and other senior officials of Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh government.
Shri Narendra Modi, remarked that, “Our effort is focused on Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, development for everyone with clean energy and better opportunities for every family.”
Spread over 1,047 acres in Ramagiri and Muthuvakuntla villages, the project has been developed under the CPSU Scheme Phase II, Tranche III. The power will be procured by Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL) for which necessary agreement has been executed.
The project will create direct and indirect job opportunities during both construction and operation phases, support local infrastructure development, and contribute to socio-economic growth in the region. It is expected to stand as a model of public sector-led renewable energy development that aligns national energy priorities with community benefits.
