PM launches ₹2,100-cr urban infra projects

The Prime Minister has recently laid the foundation stone of urban infra projects in Rajasthan at an investment worth ₹2,100 crore. The projects included a 2.7 km long Elevated Road Project in Ajmer under the Smart City Mission which will be completed within 2 years and another project pertained to be an integrated infrastructure package for walled city of Udaipur comprising drinking water supply, sewerage and road network and underground electrification of Udaipur at an investment of ₹537 crore. They also included upgrading of STPs in Dholpur, Nagaur, Alwar and Jodhpur areas at a cost ₹122 crore. The second phase of sewerage project in Sikar under the Amrut Mission, ₹370 crore worth STP in Bhilwara , ₹68 cr STP for Mt Abu, Gangashahar STP and Hanumangarh sewerage and water project worth ₹281 crore and 33 crore have also started across cities in the state.
