PM Inaugurates Development Projects Worth ₹13,480 Cr in Madhubani Bihar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated, laid foundation stones, and dedicated several development projects worth over ₹13,480 crore in Madhubani, Bihar.

Among the key announcements was the foundation stone for an LPG bottling plant with a rail unloading facility at Hathua in Gopalganj district, valued at around ₹340 crore. The facility is expected to streamline the LPG supply chain and improve bulk transportation efficiency.
Strengthening power infrastructure in the region, the Prime Minister laid the foundation for projects worth over ₹1,170 crore and inaugurated schemes worth ₹5,030 crore under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme.
To enhance rail connectivity, the PM flagged off multiple train services including the Amrit Bharat Express (Saharsa–Mumbai), Namo Bharat Rapid Rail (Jaynagar–Patna), and trains connecting Pipra, Saharsa, and Samastipur. He also inaugurated new rail lines between Supaul–Pipra and Hasanpur–Bithan, dedicated the Khagaria–Alauli rail line, and opened two-lane rail overbridges in Chapra and Bagaha.
As part of rural development initiatives, the Prime Minister distributed benefits worth ₹930 crore to over 2 lakh Self-Help Groups in Bihar under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM).
He also handed over sanction letters to 15 lakh new PMAY-Gramin beneficiaries, released instalments to 10 lakh more, and marked the Grih Pravesh of 1 lakh PMAY-G and 54,000 PMAY-U houses in Bihar.
