PM dedicates ₹6,000-cr infra projects to nation

The Prime Minister has dedicated a series of infra projects across sectors to the nation including LNG terminal at Mundra port, Anjar - Mundra Port Gas Transmission Project and Palanpur- Pali- Badmer Gas Pipeline Project in Gujarat involving a combined investment of over ₹6,000 crore in Kutch district. The natural gas supply from Mundra to Anjar will boost industrialization in the Kutch region and the LNG will reach Pali and Badmer in east Rajasthan through Palanpur- Pali Badmer Gas Pipeline project. The government will ensure that not a single family remains without LPG gas connection. Prior to this, the PM had inaugurated six new projects of Amul Dairy set up at a total cost of ₹1,120 crore; an incubation centre cum centre of excellence in food processing for promoting entrepreneurs; Mujkuva Solar Energy Cooperative Group of farmers aimed to enhance farmers' income by selling surplus electricity to power companies; and the first dairy plant of Amul in Kolkata.
