Patna Danapur Division Plans Rail Expansion Under ECR

The Railway Board Chairman, Satish Kumar, has unveiled ambitious plans to expand and modernize the Danapur division in Patna under the East Central Railway (ECR).

Key proposals include adding third and fourth lines to accommodate growing passenger and freight traffic, constructing additional tracks on busy corridors, upgrading major stations, and introducing a modern signaling system. The Danapur division also presented the progress status of ongoing projects to the Railway Board.
