Patel Engineering Declared L1 for Rs 978 Cr Renuka Dam and Tasgaon Irrigation Projects

For the Renuka Ji Dam Project Package-1 in Himachal Pradesh, the company has been declared L1 by Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited for a contract worth Rs 910.08 crore. The project, located in Sirmaur district, is scheduled for completion within 30 months. The scope includes construction of three diversion tunnels of 9.5 metre diameter with lengths of 1,379 metres, 1,468 metres and 1,590 metres, along with inlet and outlet portals, nearly 6 km of access roads, installation of hydro-mechanical gates and instrumentation works. The dam is aimed at enhancing water storage capacity, ensuring reliable supply and supporting hydropower generation.
In Maharashtra, Patel Engineering, in a joint venture, has been declared L1 by Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation for a Rs 133.25 crore irrigation project under the Tasgaon Lift Irrigation Scheme. The company’s share in the contract is Rs 67.96 crore with a 51 percent stake. The project will be executed over 48 months in Satara district and includes construction of head works, pump houses, switch yards, rising mains, delivery chambers and installation of pumping machinery. It also involves development of a closed pipe distribution system covering 2,277 hectares and laying of MS, PCCP and HDPE pipelines along with associated civil, mechanical and electrical works.
