600 industrial plots
Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has decided to offer about 600 plots near the upcoming airport at Jewar. The size of plots will range from 60 sq metres to 4,000 sq metres and the price will range from ₹11 lakh to ₹6.6 crore. The authority is awaiting approval from the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) to launch the scheme. CEO of YEIDA, Arun Vir Singh, informed that the authority has already applied for the RERA approval. There is a huge demand for plots near the upcoming airport. With plots priced at ₹16,500 per square meter, the authority expects to generate total revenue of ₹400 crore from the scheme.

Singh said, "The applicants will get one month to apply for the scheme and have to pay 10% of the amount. The draw will happen mid-April and we are giving three different payment options to the allottee." The allottee can pay the entire money at one go or in 10 installments over a period of five years.

RK Arora, chairman of Supertech, said that the authority has two integrated townships on the Yamuna Expressway and is witnessing huge demand for plots from investors. The property prices in the area have also increased in the past few months.

Gaurs Group also has an integrated township close to the airport, which is seeing increased interest from home buyers. The builder started work immediately after the government allowed construction activities post lockdown ensuring time-bound delivery.
