Enhance the water supply to Smart City

The Rs 29 crore project at Opa Water Works is now complete and will soon be commissioned. The project is designed to enhance the water supply to Smart City Panaji, providing the state capital with an additional 63 million litres per day (MLD) of water. Key infrastructure completed includes intake wells, an additional pump house with six centrifugal pumps (each with a capacity of 20 MLD), a 1,500 cubic metre sump, a 300 CuM ground-level reservoir (GLR), and two master balancing reservoirs of 2,500 litres each located on Curti Hill.
