Odisha Sets Target of 75,000 km World-Class Roads in Five Years

The Odisha state government has set a target to construct 75,000 km of world-class roads over the next five years. The plan allocates 30,000 km to the Rural Development Department, 22,800 km to the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, and 15,000 km to the Works Department. Additionally, the Water Resources Department will build 5,000 km of roads, the Housing and Urban Development Department 1,200 km, and the National Highways Authority of India 1,000 km.
