Odisha approves ₹464-cr industrial projects

The state government in Odisha has approved four industrial projects of ₹464.72 crore. Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy gave in-principle approval to the projects in the metal and metal downstream and food processing sectors. The projects have huge job generation potentials as a medium density fibreboard (MDF) manufacturing facility with an annual capacity of 72,000 cubic metres is being set up by Galax Industries also got approval from the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), which is spearheaded by the chief secretary. It proposed to invest ₹93 crore in the project to be set up at Malipada in Khorda district. The government also approved a proposal of Envirocare Infrasolution Private Limited's new unit at Lathikata in Sundergarh to set up a pellet plant of 1.6 MTPA at an investment of ₹120 crore. Among others, a Slurry Pipeline project from its proposed Beneficiation Plant at Koira to the pellet plant to be set up at an investment of ₹100 crore by Envirocare Infrasolution at Lathikata in Sundergarh also got approval.
