Noida launches ₹650-cr, 5.5-km long elevated corridor

The Noida authority has started construction work on the 5.5 km-long six-lane elevated corridor over Shahdara drain where the road starts from Chilla regulator area in Mayur Vihar on Delhi side and ends near Mahamaya flyover in Noida. While the Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation Limited is constructing the ₹650 crore roads which will be monitored by a team of experts to be hired by the Authority, the design was vetted by IIT-Delhi. The agency is currently in the process of arranging logistics, including labor and assessment of the area, said general manager, Noida authority, Rajeev Tyagi, adding that the construction work will begin from both ends of the proposed elevated road simultaneously keeping in mind that the traffic movement doesn’t get disturbed during the construction period.
