To address traffic congestion on the DND Flyway, the Noida and Greater Noida authorities have jointly launched widening of the Noida/Greater Noida expressway, which directly connects with Delhi, informed CEO, Noida Authority, Rajeev Tyagi. The additional lane can only be built on one side of the road along the DND loop as it's the only vacant area . The six-lane DND road narrows down to two-lanes at the exit towards Sector 16A, Noida. Heavy traffic is also seen on the DND exit meeting point with the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, causing regular traffic snarls. The additional lane will help smooth vehicular traffic, said SP (traffic), Anil Kumar Jha.
