NHIDCL launches Kohima-Jessami NH project in Nagaland
The National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation has launched the construction work of the two-laning with hard shoulder of Kohima-Jessami road on National Highway-29. The foundation stone for the project along with a score of other road projects in Nagaland were virtually laid by the Union transport minister, Nitin Gadkari, in the first week of December. The mega highway project will connect Kohima to the Phek district and the Myanmar border. During the foundation laying ceremony in the state, the minister had stated that almost all districts in Nagaland have been connected to a robust network of National Highways.
