NHAI to Expand Bengaluru–Kolar NH-75 Stretch into 10-Lane Highway

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will widen the Bengaluru–Kolar section of National Highway 75 (NH-75) into a 10-lane corridor to ease congestion and boost regional connectivity. The upgraded highway will feature six central lanes and two service lanes on each side, providing smoother traffic flow for thousands of daily commuters.
Stretching from Hoskote, about 32 km from Bengaluru, to the Andhra Pradesh border, the expansion begins near Kolathur—where NH-75 intersects with the Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR) and the partially opened Bengaluru–Chennai Expressway. The project is expected to significantly enhance mobility and support long-term economic growth in the region.
