NHAI Invites Bids for Rs 4,829 Cr Four-Lane Highway Project on Kaliabor–Numaligarh Section in Assam

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for the widening and upgradation of the existing Kaliabor–Numaligarh section of NH-37 (new NH-715) in Assam to a four-lane carriageway. The project, valued at Rs 4,829.14 crore, will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode, with a completion timeline of 36 months and a maintenance period of 10 years.

As part of the project, wildlife-friendly measures will be implemented along the Kaziranga National Park (KNP) stretch to mitigate ecological impact while improving road connectivity. The initiative aligns with NHAI’s commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible infrastructure development in India’s Northeast region. The last date for bid submission is December 3, 2025.
