NHAI floats tender for ₹201-cr road project

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has floated tender for the construction of six-laning of Panipat-Jalandhar section of the highway across Punjab and Haryana. The scope of work includes six-laning of this section of NH-1 from 96 km to 387.100 km in the two states to be executed as build operate and transfer (BOT) (Toll) on DBFO pattern under NHDP Phase-V-Balance BC overlay works between 96 km to 387.100 km (balance stretches in Punjab and Haryana sections). The work on the mega road project will be completed in 10 months involving an investment of ₹201.45 crore.
