Adding to its project portfolio in the country’s road and highway sector, Dilip Buildcon Ltd (DBL) recently announced that its wholly-owned arm has executed a concession pact with the National Highway Authority of India for a road project in Karnataka. DBL Bellary Byrapura Highways Pvt Ltd, the subsidiary of DBL, has inked an agreement with National Highways Authority of India. The project entails the scope of work for the construction of four-laning of a highway project in Karnataka on hybrid annuity model under Bharatmala Pariyojana for which the NHAI's bid project cost was ₹1027.62 crore. The construction period of the project is two years with operation period of 15 years from commercial date of operations, claimed an official spokesperson.
