National Highway Authority of India
The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has decided to invest ₹1,100 crore in Sohna road in Gurgaon ensuring connectivity to the Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor for which the investment amount will be shared by both the state and Central governments. Besides extending the width of the road, there are also plans to build two elevated flyovers at the busy route. The project would be completed in one-and-a-half years and the work is expected to start very shortly. With Gurugram being the major point in the Delhi-Mumbai corridor, this is the third major project where the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) along with the state government will invest to revamp the city roads. The NHAI has already built a number of flyovers and underpasses at the city's busiest points along the Delhi- Jaipur highway.
