New Four-Lane ROB Approved for Indore’s MR-10

the General Arrangement Drawing

The Indian Railways has approved the General Arrangement Drawing (GAD) for a new four-lane railway over bridge (ROB) parallel to the existing one on MR-10 in Indore. The Indore Development Authority (IDA) will now float tenders for its construction.

Planned to be completed before the Ujjain Simhastha 2028, the new ROB will ease traffic congestion and reduce the load on the current structure. With rising vehicular pressure in the city, multiple flyovers and ROBs are being developed at key intersections to improve urban mobility.
