NECL concrete pouring feat enters Guinness Book of World Record

Navayuga Engineering Company Limited (NECL) a dominant player in the engineering and core infrastructure, has entered the Guinness Book of World Record for concrete pouring. The flagship entity, Navayuga Group, which is currently building the world's largest flood discharge capacity dam at Polavaram in Andhra Pradesh, created the world record by pouring 32,315 cubic metres of concrete in 24 hours. It was the planning and engineering skills of NECL that made possible a work of such mammoth proportions. Accredited the status of a national project, Polavaram witnessed 20 agitator trucks delivering concrete from 10 batching plants and 90 transit mixers that were engaged in this engineering feat, which was monitored by an official adjudicator from GUINNESS WORLD RECORD® in the presence of the state's chief minister. Commenting on the achievement Managing Director, Navayuga Engineering, Sridhar Chinta, said that it is an extremely proud moment for Navayuga to be a part of such an iconic project in terms of its scale, expanse and impact on livelihood. Building the mega project showcased NECL's world-class engineering capabilities. The company many achievements include building the longest river bridge Dhola-Sadiya, Dibang-Lohit River Management System, the longest highway tunnel project, Quazigund to Banihal, largest port on the east coast of India – Krishnapatnam Port, among others.
