NCRTC floats tenders for ₹24,975-cr Delhi-Alwar rapid rail

National Capital Regional Transport Corporation Board
The National Capital Regional Transport Corporation Board has floated tenders for a section of Delhi-Alwar Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor for pile loading and pre-construction work like loading test and geo-technical survey on the Delhi-SNB section. The mega project will cover Delhi-Gurgaon-Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror Urban Complex (SNB) section of the corridor. The geo-technical investigations would obtain information on the physical properties of soil and foundations for proposed structures, while the pile loading test would assess the design adequacy. Once implemented, it will encourage people to leave their vehicles behind for a world-class public transport system, said CPRO, NCRTC, Sudhir Kumar Sharma. He informed that the corridor would pass through industrialized areas of Haryana’s Manesar and Bawal and that the entire Delhi-Alwar stretch would be constructed in three phases.
