The work of checking pressure tolerance of pillars for laying the foundation of the corridor's route has also been started. Group General Manager, NCRTC, Sudhir Sharma, said in a media statement, that both the Uttar Pradesh and Central governments have given the final nod for the project, and they will invest Rs 5,000 crore and ₹6, 000 crore, respectively, while the Delhi government will chip in ₹1,000 crore. Though the project work started following the first installment of the planned budget, NCRTC faced hurdles in the execution in the absence of specialists.
