NBCC secures three realty projects
The projects included re-development of housing colonies in Sarojini Nagar, Nauroji Nagar and Netaji Nagar in the national capital, easing problem of shortage of government accommodation and staff housing stock. The government had earlier announced that it is keen to rebuild seven housing colonies, which also included Kasturba Nagar, Thyagraj Nagar, Sriniwaspuri and Mohammadpur to double the existing housing units from 12,970 units to 25,667. NBCC, under the administrative control of Ministry of Urban Development, is currently engaged in three main segments - Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Real Estate Development and Engineered Procurement Construction (EPC) contracting, said official sources.
