France fires Rs. 2,000-cr in Puducherry infra
As a matter of fact, the Agence Francaise Development, a public financial institution in France is implementing programs for sustainable development and would provide funds to the area for infrastructure development and the targeted funds would be made available to the Central government from AFD as a long-term loan and the Centre would in turn allocate it to Puducherry as grant. On this score, the Puducherry government is currently reworking on the Smart City project by integrating Puducherry municipalities.
