NBCC fixes Rs. 25,000cr projects on radar

In view of the burgeoning business opportunities in the country's construction sector, National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) has targeted construction projects worth Rs. 25,000-cr on its radar in the national capital during the current fiscal. Its order book currently stands at over Rs 35,000-cr and is likely to touch Rs 60,000-cr in the next few months, Chairman and Managing Director, Anoop Mittal, said.

Elaborating further, that in the past one year it has secured some big-ticket projects including redevelopment of exhibition centre of ITPO worth Rs 2,149-cr and AIIMS redevelopment project worth Rs 5,828-cr and is likely to add three more works of redevelopment of government properties valuing approximately Rs 25,000cr, located at Netaji Nagar, Sarojini Nagar and Nauraji Nagar in the heart of Delhi, he claimed.
