The NBCC recently has awarded a contract worth ₹837.77 crore to Girdhari Lal Construction for the redevelopment of Ayur Vigyan Nagar campus of AIIMS in the national capital. Apart from this, it has also awarded ₹538.76 crore contracts to Ahluwalia Contracts for the redevelopment of Charbagh, Lucknow railway station, NBCC said in an official statement. In the first case, the Girdhari Lal Construction would build residential and commercial towers, social infrastructure buildings, external development works and allied works on design, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis. In regard to second case, the company bagged the project to develop and rebuild Charbagh, Lucknow railway station and adjoining land parcels on EPC module.
