MoRTH launches ₹1,865 cr project in Karnataka

The Union transport minister recently laid foundation stones for three road projects involving ₹1,865 crore investments in Karnataka where the projects included the improvement and reconstruction of 125 km of NH 373, between Belur in Hassan and Bilikere near Mysuru have been taken up. The works include construction of two major bridges, nine minor bridges, 91 culverts, one railway over bridge and 17 junctions. The widening of Banavara-Huliyar section of NH 234 involves construction of six minor bridges, 64 culverts and eight intersections. The NH 75 bypass in Channarayapatna and Hassan would be widened to four lanes to make the stretches hassle free ensuring accident free vehicular traffic movement.
