MoRTH Invites Bids for ₹256.54 Cr Gangapur City Bypass Project on NH-23 in Rajasthan

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has floated tenders for the construction of a 19.16 km bypass for Gangapur City on NH-23 in Rajasthan. The project, to be developed under the Annual Plan 2024–25, will follow a two-lane with paved shoulders configuration and be executed on an EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) basis at an estimated cost of ₹256.54 crore.

The scope includes rehabilitation and upgradation of the existing carriageway, construction of a new pavement, major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, and RCC drains. The selected contractor will also be responsible for maintaining the bypass during a five-year defect liability period.
