MoRTH Forms Expert Panel for Technical Review of Long Tunnel Projects

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has established a panel of experts from ONGC, RVNL, and THIDCL to conduct technical reviews of long tunnel projects on National Highways. The panel will provide expert advice for tunnels exceeding 1.5 km in length. Proposals for such projects must be submitted to the Director General (Road Development) for technical review before being presented to the Public Private Partnership Appraisal Committee (PPPAC) and Standing Finance Committee (SFC).
